About Gritworks Trucking

Gritworks Trucking was founded in January 2026 because we wanted to build something that reflected who we are and the way we believe business should be done. After years of building careers in our respective fields, we decided it was time to build something of our own — a company that values hard work, integrity, professionalism, and genuine service. We didn't want to simply haul materials from one place to another; we wanted to build a trucking company that customers could count on and one that our family could be proud of.

The name Gritworks is a reflection of our mindset. To us, it means exactly what it says: grit works. We believe success comes from showing up every day, putting in the effort, and doing the work even when it's difficult.

Meet Jonathan & Colline

Jonathan has more than 13 years of commercial driving experience, with a background in transporting heavy equipment, flatbed transport, and dump truck operations. Colline studied business and law and spent 14 years as a paralegal — those same skills of organization, attention to detail, and clear communication now run Gritworks' business side: company management, contracts, accounting, compliance, marketing, and strategic planning.

Together, we're a true husband-and-wife team. Jonathan keeps the trucks moving while Colline keeps the business moving. Because we're owner-operated, every decision is made by the people who have personally invested their lives into this company. When customers call Gritworks, they're working directly with the owners — not a large corporate office or multiple layers of management.

What we won't cut corners on

There are a few things we'll never cut corners on: safety, maintenance, communication, reliability, and treating people with respect. While we hope to grow in the future, we intentionally want to remain owner-operated, because our passion is trucks, business, and serving customers directly.

At the end of the day, Gritworks isn't just about hauling material. It's about earning trust. Every load, every phone call, and every handshake is an opportunity to prove that grit really does work.
